Vinyasa Ashtanga Yoga at CTC
Foundational Vinyasa Yoga classes for the beginner, to align, strengthen, and improve flexibility in the body/mind
Classes focus on understanding postures and creating stability. We hold each pose and flow with simplified transitions to develop quality and ease of movement. Breath and meditation techniques are integrated to promote full form relaxation and concentration. Expand your range of motion with forward folds, back bends, twists, inversions, and arm balances.
The aim of this course is for you to cultivate a personal practice so you can meet your own ever changing needs. Students are encouraged to practice individually outside of class as confidence grows.

Classes are led by instructor Lee Edward Coleman, certified in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, 200RYT, through Yoga Ah Teacher Training. Lee has been a member of the CTC Adult Taekwondo Program since 2012. He believes in the power of yoga to deepen the profundity of one’s martial arts experience as well as to enhance overall well being in the community.
