Vinyasa Ashtanga Yoga at CTC
Begin Any Time!
Beginner-friendly classes will include the foundational poses of yoga. Students will learn the principles of alignment through joint openness, twists, forward and backward bends, and inversions. Practice emphasizes breathing techniques to improve circulation and steady awareness.

YANG - The active force. You'll learn to sync breath and body movement with vigorous flow, strengthening the muscles and the nervous system.
10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. • Bottle Rocket Flow
7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. • Modified Primary Series
YIN - The passive force. The movement is slower paced with poses held for 3-5 minutes. Our work will target the connective tissues and relax your muscles with mindful breathing.
5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. • Modified Primary Series + Yin
10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. • Yin Relaxation
CTC Students : $5/class
Classes are led by instructor Lee Edward Coleman, certified in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, 200RYT, through Yoga Ah Teacher Training. Lee has been a member of the CTC Adult Taekwondo Program since 2012. He believes in the power of yoga to deepen the profundity of one’s martial arts experience as well as to enhance overall well being in the community.
