Winter Ninja Games

The Gumdo group is holding its annual Ninja Games on Saturday, Dec. 28 from 5-8 p.m. The event is open to current and past Gumdo students, and there is a $10 participation fee. For the first half, OMAC Instructor Shawn Oeder will hold a slicing seminar: students under navy belt and under 16 years old will practice accuracy via new training techniques incorporating newspaper and props; students navy and above and 16 years+ will work on their mat cutting skills using a live blade, under the careful watch of Mr. Oeder. Game time will follow, starting at 6:30, and will include one of our infamous obstacle courses and a medal ceremony.
